I’m back after over a year without WordPress in my journal.:) How are you guys?

Hello guys,
I think a year pass by that I haven’t hand you some update about my status and what’s going on me for the past year. Pardon for my absence though it’s not an excuse but I lost my interest here in WordPress around that time!

Anyway I’m doing well and my husband as well, we are just both busy, both involved to this overwhelming paperwork’s that seems like aged us for over a year. But aside for that we’re strongly doing abundant thanks god. We we’re in States last May and had countless moments with my Sister in-law.

For now here are the photos that I’d like to share with you guys and soon my good news well revealed.

The outdoors of the design is very intriguing, eyeful and convincing. Last weekend my husband and I went to the +Flea-Market shopping. Walking all the way to the sidewalk. Almost lunch so we opted to head right after shopping to our favorite boat restaurant the +Grosseto-Marina.
While walking that way I saw this Boat Hotel and saw people chewing down inside.

My husband thought “Exclusive for the guest service only” but instead of being skeptical I stroll inside and asked!
And yepp we ended up our 1st experienced of this +Boat-Hotel-Matylda restaurant that serves +Italian +Cuisine

Sweet lunch.:)

The ambiance feels relaxed, breathing the cool breeze of the wind, the birds singing, swimming, the low motion of the boats are passing us through, the mountain view and the wonderful scene moments is just quite a harmony of mind while sitting in the +Anchored boat.

While checking my photos that I snapped last week, this following photos are seems unique for me to let you guys know, that I found this historical numbers in view’s of Prague’s building. Now I’m not saying that this is the oldest building in Prague coz I’m sure there’s more than to this old building around Prague.

Here’s the following photos

 nmn

You may noticed looks like not a 1885 building! But the thought is that this building was build on 1885 same architect, design, and currently still existing.:) I’ll try to dig in more what the name of this building, or whats in there!

kj

And another one 1902:)

n

And this one was a abandon building. When I tried to picture it out it seems like an old train station of Prague before. I’m not sure though!

If you knew about the photos feel free to educate us, precisely is I’m interested to hear about it.:)

So this is my friday thoughts of this week, seems nonsense but I think it’s just unique and different, I think.:)

Touched Down Prague.:)

Hey guys, how’s everything up to this summer?

Just a quick update about me right now after those 90 days long vacation in my lovely Philippines.:)

I’m now finely in the ground of Prague, a little over 2 weeks already. I was so busy running errands almost every freakin’ single day! Because we moved to a new flat, so decorating and some fixed up really knocks me down, and plus have to run the time! Aside from that my husband and I are on this tons of documentation that traveled through since I touched down Prague. Paper works here and there, and appointments are lift and right! I did tried to do some blogging but I can’t get that position of knocking and nailing my words as my concentration are out of nowhere by then. “Will I think even until now” so bye for now guys muahhhhxxoxoxoxo.;0

Yesterday hubby and I opted to have a break on our paper works project, so we opted to hike and to check the big park just near to our flat.:)

I snapped this Macro shot using my 5100 Nikon DSLR. Actually for me this isn’t the right output for Macro as I’m on the wrong lens!

Yesterday hubby and I opted to have a break on our paper work project! We opted to hike and do some checking this stunning park that just near our flat.:)

You might notice that I dropped a lot of weight from the last time you saw me? Yes I did.:)

You might notice that I dropped a lot of weight from the last time you saw me! Yes I did.:) From 115 pounds last year of November down to 103 pounds March of this year, and now I’m currently 93 pounds.:) I eat a lot while I’m in the Philippines, but exercise and portion of our daily meals is much relevant for me.:)

I wish you all a happy blissful weekend:)

See y’all next time.:)

Sunny Winter-land of Prague:)

Every morning when I wake up, one of my routine is to grabbed my device to check the weather update of the day. The weather says “SUNNY PRAGUE √  Yehheheyey

So I opted to walk around the city instead of walking the treadmill in the gym, and the most crucial thing for me is to shot some street photography.:) Here’s my latest photos of Prague Czech Republic.:)

~~~A Day Trip to the Karlštejn Castle~~~
Karlštejn Castle Czech Republic. Founded 1348:)
Karlštejn Castle Czech Republic. Founded 1348:)
What is Karlštejn Castle?
Is a famous Gothic structure Castle founded in 1348 in Czech Republic. Built by Czech King and Roman Emperor Charles IV. A place to secure the Royal treasures, especially Charles’s collection of holy relics and the coronation jewels of the Roman Empire. OLD? Yeah it’s decades and decades years old, and that’s how tourist get interested to visit the town of Karlštejn Castle.
Gothic design founded in 1348.
Gothic design founded in 1348.
How to get there from Prague?
Karlštejn Castle is in Czech Republic. 20km west of Prague, or about 40minutes train ride from the Center of Prague. From Prague you can ride the commuter train by going to the “RED LINE.” Prague is divided into 3 lines metro station. “Green Line, Yellow Line, and the Red Line” so going to Karlštejn all you have to do is ride the Red line and stop at “Hlavní nádraží” At the same station, you can purchase your ticket going to Karlštejn castle just follow the sign! Private vehicles going to the castle is not allowed, so don’t shocked when you get to Karlštejn and you heard some Taxi driver giving you a ride to the castle. If you’re not willing to walk so get a taxi, but I recommend you to just walk and have fun the view! To exit the Karlštejn station, go to right, turn to the first block then turn left, and you’ll see the bridge, straight and cross, and you’ll see the Castle. About 5minutes walk!
Follow the direction please!
Follow the direction please!
A Reflection view from the Bridge.:)
A Reflection view from the left side of the Bridge.:)
Then you'll see this view:)
Then you’ll see this view:)
Whats in Karlštejn?
Well, if you’d like Gothic and oldest castle in Europe I think this might be your meal. Aside for the castle the little town of the area is quite interesting, a good scape to get a fresh air, tons of shops, like CRYSTAL Bohemian Glasses with different design handcrafts, tons of Antiques, and Peaceful Scenery. I think the prices of the crystal glasses in Karlštejn is a good bargain than in Prague, and if you know how to BARGAIN? Thats a big plus.:)
Best season to go?
Summer is the best way to go! Everything are open from Hotels, Restaurants, shops, and more activities from weekdays to weekends. Best time is morning so you can enjoy the day and still have enough time to hop on the train back to Prague that afternoon. During Winter the best days to visit is weekends as winter is the low season of the year. The Castle is closed, Taxi driver won’t tell you that, as you know they need business! So I recon to walk, really. Most shops are CLOSED too during weekdays of winter.
Only 4 shops are open when we get there during the weekdays.
We only saw 5 shops open during our visit there. 2shops are owned by only 1 owner, were the Sales lady watching back to back to her shops, she sells Souvenirs and Bohemian Crystals. The 1 shop sells Garnet Jewelry, the other one also is Crystals shop, and the last 5shops is Antiques stuffs. Plus one restaurant that only offers beverage.
It's kind of DEAD during weekdays!
It’s kind of DEAD during weekdays!
ccc
This Museum is CLOSED too.:)
Why I say this stuff?
Because my husband and I visited the town just recently last month to buy some neat Crystal Bohemian Glasses. It was Friday morning, Taxi driver bugging us for a ride said it’s quite far! He din’t mentioned that the Castle is closed and most of the shops are closed too! Good thing my husband and I preferred to walk as the fresh air feels good that morning. And we’re surprised walking is not a big deal, opposite to what the Taxi driver said. But I’m kind of disappointed because my real reason to be in Karlštejn is to purchase the crystal but only 5 shops are open, the rest are closed. I purchased few bohemian crystal like the Vases, and a pitcher at a very good bargain VERSUS Prague price.:)
All
All Restaurants are closed except one that only offered beverage. I have no problem with it but the ambiance of the restaurant is not acceptable for me. It smells bad, the cigarets smell is overwhelming, the hot temperature inside is pushing me better to stay outside. We pushed to get in the restaurant to used the bathroom, so we have to order at least a drink. Good thing the bathroom is clean thats the only complement I can give to those restaurant. This is NOT the Photo restaurant I’m talking that has a poor ambiance OK! This is just showing you that this restaurant is closed too.
My Husband and I ordered 2 mug of Capucieno
My Husband and I ordered 2 mugs of this Cappuccino Coffee. I dont like the taste at all, so I didn’t bother to drink them after the 1 sip! Sorry about that.:)  My husband drinks all his Cappuccino, so I thought he like it. But when I asked him his response is just to respect the waiter. I said WOW your kind of nice! I didn’t drink mine so he will realize my reason of not drinking it because the taste is horrible……
Closed!
Small Police Station Closed!
What else we did?
Not much, but just keep walking romantically, stopping each window glass of the closed shop peeking what they have inside, snapping photos and just have fun.:)
Time to go hop on the train back to Prague:)
We didn’t stay that long in Karlštejn so we opted to hop on the train by 1pm. As we’re content and accomplished our goal in the town.
47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival Czech Republic 2012
How you folks doing?
I was thriled to share my Karlovy Vary journey last July 4th of this year to you readers, and bloggers. When I’ve gotten the reports that Philippines has their own film festival entry here in Czech Republic, I was fondled thrilled about it! I heard about the movie and did some exploring about it. The main character of the movie is one of the best comedian actresses in the Philippines named Eugene Domingo which is one of my favorite comedian star and oh yeah she’s happened to visit us here in Prague promoting her movie titled “The Girl in the Septic Tank” and yes I had hug, and have picture taking with her as she visits Philippine Embassy here in Prague. A huge thank you to our Philippine Embassy crew here in Prague as without them, I wont be able to see Eugene Domingo on person, and plus wont be able to watched her film entry.:)
So guys have fun with my photos.:)
Welcome to Karlovy Vary Czech Republic Europe:)
Karlovy Vary was surrounded by interesting designs, mostly more on modern type of architectures.:)
When your in a tourist spots, please dont hesitate to bargain too.
My friend whose been with me Traveling from Prague to Karlovy Vary.
The Red Carpet Building:)
I Like the design of the structure! I think it is called the Gothic design? am I right?
The Thermal area!
Most of the folks community in Karlovy Vary believed that drinking this water in the Thermal area can healed minor sickness, and prolonged miracles too!
Most of the residence in Karlovy Vary alleged that drinking the Thermal water can restored any minor sickness like stomachache, headache, and minor cases. And also they considered that it commands wishes like for those couple that are trying to conceive a baby dust for a long period of time. As what my friend explained to me who currently is a tenants in Karlovy Vary with her family. The water is defined in different types of hot temperature from the lowest 20degrees up to 90s I think! There are 15 faucets total in the Thermal area, and it’s a legend and traditions that in order to make the dream come true “You should drink all of them defending on how much liquid amount of water you want.” My friend also educate me that, Karlovy Vary is a natural organic waste of environment, which the wind and surroundings makes you relaxed, stress free, and you can’t even feel the bad toxic, since the area is surrounded by huge mountain!
It said it could possible make wishes come true like having a baby:)
What the H*** lets give a try, why not!
I even tried to drink the water. The taste is different defending on their temperature. Some I tasted like, salty, sweet, and some are just yuck as in yucky and wanted to blow!!!!!
But I did try them, I actually don’t believed it but hey! If I tried nothing I could loss, and if I wont try nothing will loss too! So what the Heck, right? Just hope you wont upset your tummy lol.:) because yes after few minutes my tummy is murmuring good thing one of my friend has her Imodium tablet then after that, I get fine no more tummy pain.:) next?
Friends are having fun exploring Karlovy Vary:)
After all the reason why we end-up Karlovy Vary aside to mingled our friends, drink those thermal water,  it’s because Philippines has their own entry to this 47th International film festeval tittled “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” or the “Woman in the Septic Tank”
After all that long fun day, I articulate to myself that I had a very fun 4th of July. And the next day was my celebration with my gorgeous husband about our 4th of July just me and him the entire week.:) I could say yes I wanted to go back Karlovy Vary with my husband this time, and do noting but to relax in the SPA Hotel, and just have fun.:)
Folk’s I hope y’all had fun viewing the photos and hopefully at least I handed you some interesting view point about Karlovy Vary of Czech Republic.:)
Ciao,
Hello guys,
My week was very functional, entertaining, and travelling outside Prague. July 1 I hitched myself to the Filipino Czech Association or “FCA” dragon boat in Prague.  It’s not a race Okay! As you may think about it! The FCA president looks for paddler volunteers, so I lock myself into it. Who knows, the volunteers may be part of a race in the future. I love to experience stuff as much as I can, so why not have fun and be thrilled about it. At the start I was doubtful, for the fact that at this time of my existence I have no Idea how to swim still. Though I grew up in the paradise of an ocean, but I haven’t absorbed the opportunities of swimming as I always said to myself I’m a big dead fish! That’s sounds cool ha?
signing for this non-obligatory letter. Waiting for more visitors and volunteers.
This box of cherries welcomed to each visitors, so better come early or all you have left is an empty box lol.:)
Enjoying the beautiful summer of Prague
Stretching first dont forget!
we have to carry our boat and land it to the water:)
almost there!
Everybody are thrilled about it:)
This is it, finely I’m gonna be part of it, in few more minutes I’ll be paddling and I’ll surely be loving it.:)
Bye for now guys see yeah in an hour:)
Yes were back and I felt tired, we paddle for an hour and 15minutes or more I think:)
placing it back to where we get this boat from the very start:)
were hungry bird:)
It’s Barbecue time yummy:)
Enjoying every single yummy cuisine on our plate together with extra Chika-chika too:)
Before heading back to our each roof lets have a group photo click together FCA folks.:)
At the end of the day I must admit it was awesome that I volunteer to be the one of paddlers in the said dragon boat I felt no regret at all and if I’m given chance again, yes I’ll volunteer again not once, not twice, but more. Everything went smooth in the water it’s just that most of the time each paddle hitting each other, and that’s most happen during the first trial. So just set back and have fun every single moments of it.:)
One thing I know that after all that work I have this in my brain that I’m starving which all I want to grab is food! I was so glad that I smelled the barbecue grill and my favorite salad is in the table. I’m thankful to the group for grilling those mouth watering different types of meat, and for bringing delicious yummy cuisine on that day. I am very much thankful to FCA for inviting me and letting me part as a member of the said organization the Filipino Czech Association or “FCA.”
June is Breast cancer awareness month of Czech Republic!
Video
Hello guy’s, just a quick thinking post again!
Before it runs out to my brain, how’s your weekend by the way? Mine? Not much though! My hubby is out of the country, so after I sent him to the airport this morning I run right-away to the Gym and stayed their for couple of hours. Then I treat myself to a little shopping, which is woman’s loves to perform! Then I head home.
Yesterday when my husband and I were out and about, as he asked me if we could do some walking near the Flea market, as the weather is kind of OKAY! We spotted that few women are wearing this same pink shirt, police cars around, and the flea market is kind of heavy. I kind of ignoring the scenario as I focus eyeing the food’s display, and some unique stuff! And yes I found this unique stuff, a telescope that I bargain and saved me about 10$“lol.” The telescope changes colors as you focus to the subject so for me it is quite interesting.
My husband wants to sit in a restaurant, so since we cant find that in a flea market we skipped right way and head off to our favorite boat restaurant. While strolling in the riverside walks all of the sudden a school parade of this pink shirt are blocking the road. What should I do? Here’s the few photos so have fun guy’s.:)
We have to stop and position ourselves to the corner or els well got run over lol:)
Another group of pink are in the side walk of the river!
Can yo dare to count how many pink in there?
some pink went to stop and has to cool down in the restaurant!
I’ve asked to this young girls about what’s going on here? She has trouble to her English, I think she’s nervous. But she delivered good as she said it is a Breast Cancer Awareness month of Czech Republic.:) And all the pink Shirt sponsored by “AVON” I said to them I thought it is October is the cancer awareness month? she response Yes! but here in Prague we opted to execute it this early month of June.:)
Police officer on horse patrol!
Pink Shirt by AVON!
This is our Favorite restaurant here in Prague! after all the walking and battling the parade were glad to reached this restaurant….BUT UNFORTUNATELY the restaurant is FULL no vacant and we have to wait for an hour.:( so opted to go to our 2nd choice of restaurant in the mall of Andel in the steak restaurant! I cant wait for another hour as I felt dehydrated, hungry, and cant wait to set and relax!
That’s the name of our favorite restaurant here in Prague! The price is not bad, food is excellent, location is good, and the view is romantic.:) it’s a boat restaurant! If you love pizza, then it is best choice! It is an Italian restaurant.:)
“Filipino-Czech Association” http://filczech.cz/site/about/
May 26-2012 7:30PM the first Filipino Czech Association launching party conquered in Prague Czech Republic. FCA or Filipino Czech Association is a group organization who’s the goal is to unite the 2 Nationalities and other nationalities as friends as can be. During the party the President of the organization discussed about the advantage of this Association where the goal are the following!
  • Provide information about any Visa’s immigration issues
  • Promoting the cultures/tourism in the country of Philippines
  • And more relevant issues
It was my very own privilege that I become part of the celebration as I myself volunteer to be as one of the photographer of the said event. I am far from being a professional photographer but FCA accepted my offer, which brought me this honored to provide my work as good as I can as my only way to return my great thanks to FCA.
The party ended with a blast, was full of vitality, the crowed are trilled every time the music start. Filipino parties have their each objective to attain! And that’s to provide liveliness to the crowed. Singing, live band, dancing, raffle tickets, contest, awarding are on the list as part of the program.
FCA acknowledged and thankful to find out that the guest visitors are overflowing from Germany, Switzerland, other part of Europe, and United States as one of my friends was there too, and most specially outside Prague where few of the Filipino’s are. The FCA is proud to uncover that behind the scene the support of the Philippine Embassy team in Czech Republic, with the first act of the Ambassador’s help. The Philippine Embassy in Czech Republic is showing openly their wide arms to support this first Filipino-Czech Association in Czech Republic.
From my two little eyes, I am pretty much sure that FCA will stand long more forward in the future once the cooperation, loyalty, and goals to achieve must be on top of the list priority. I may not see it from my own in the future as I myself is just one of the many expats here in Czech Republic but I’ll keep my prayers to FCA’s success.:)
